Pickup terms

These terms govern pre-orders placed on Orisun.Farm. By placing an order you agree to them. Orisun.Farm is a weekly pre-order service: we source, slaughter and prepare only what the community has ordered in that week's window.
1. Order windows
Friday Jumu'ah orders open Monday 12:00 AM and close Wednesday 11:59 PM (Africa/Lagos). Sunday Service orders open Monday 12:00 AM and close Thursday 11:59 PM. Orders placed outside an open window are not accepted; the website enforces this. A window may close earlier if the week's quota is filled.
2. Pricing and weight
Prices are stated per kilogram in Nigerian Naira and are fixed at the moment your order is confirmed. Your pack is weighed on a calibrated scale and labelled with the exact kilograms. If a pack is found to weigh less than ordered, the difference is refunded or credited; if it weighs more, you are not charged extra.
3. Payment
Depending on the options enabled at checkout, you may pay by card (processed by Paystack), by bank transfer, or on pickup. Card payments are confirmed automatically. Bank transfers are only confirmed once the funds are received and matched to your reference. Pay-on-pickup orders must be settled before the package is released.
4. Cancellation and refunds
Because orders drive the week's slaughter, cancellations are possible only before the ordering window closes for your pickup day. After that point, and once your animal has been cut, orders cannot be cancelled. Where a cancellation is accepted, refunds are returned to the original payment method, minus any payment-processor fees.
5. Pickup and storage
You must collect your order inside the hub's published pickup window. Our meat is fresh and cold-chained, not shelf-stable: packages cannot be held overnight or indefinitely. If you cannot make the window, contact us before it ends. Uncollected orders may be released for resale after the window closes and may not be refundable.
6. Food handling after collection
Once your package is handed over it is your responsibility to keep it cold. We recommend refrigerating or freezing within two hours of collection. Follow normal food-safety practice for handling and cooking raw meat.
7. Halal and quality
Our beef and ram are slaughtered by trained Muslim slaughtermen in line with Halal requirements. If you believe a product does not meet our quality standard, contact us with your order reference within 24 hours of pickup and keep the product so we can review it.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service grows. The version published on this page at the time of your order applies to that order. Questions? Email info@orisun.tech.
